LeMaanam’ operates a medical hotline that is active Sunday-Thursday between 9 AM and 7 PM. Dial *3191.

In which medical fields can you apply?
You can contact us in any field that requires a specialist doctor. We employ about 2000 volunteers in a variety of fields, including about 1000 volunteer doctors from all over the country.

The organization does not deal with situations defined as medical emergencies
Who is eligible to receive the service?
All Holocaust survivors in the State of Israel are invited to contact us for services.
Do your services cost money?
All the services of the ‘For their sake’ association are provided free of charge. In some cases, the intervention of third party parties is required and then there is an element of financial self-participation on the part of the patient, please contact the hotline for more details.
Are you involved in other non-medical fields?
Yes! The association offers assistance in advancing appointments and transportation for medical treatments
Will the doctor come to my house?
The decision whether to come to the patient’s home is only the doctor’s. If a medical request is received – it will be summerised by the medical representative and forwarded for consultation to the appropriate doctor, who will then decide what will be the best course of action.
